With expected 5.000 participants at the 15th World Scout Moot in Iceland in 2017, the Moot will need up to 1.000 people in the International Service Team (IST). The Moot organizers expect that around half the IST team will be Icelandic and half from the different countries attending the Moot. Following WOSM´s guidelines for World Scout Moots no participating country can have more than 100 IST members and contingents cannot have more IST members than participants.

The currently available information for the IST is listed on this page.  As the preparation for the Moot continues more information will be added.  If you have any questions, please contact the Moot´s IST responsible at  Please put your question forward in English, French or Icelandic, which are the official and/or working languages of the Moot.   Join the International Service Team and it may change your life.  Joining the IST will help the Moot in important ways, while you will have a unique experience enjoying Iceland and the truly international group that will attend the event. IST Training: IST are expected to arrive at the meeting point in Laugardalur in Reykjavik on the evening of 22 July or until 14:00 on 23 July 2017.  Upon arrival, they will undergo training, beginning with general training, including a site orientation, followed by job­specific training.
